Resource International, Inc. used the iiCollector to document and analyze 133 guardrail end treatment locations in eight central Ohio counties. Throughout the duration of this project, Rii technicians collected data on end treatments, guardrails and rated the condition of the existing guardrails and posts. From the inputted data, the iiCollector prepared a condition report using ProjectGrid.com. This report included the hazard, length and need starting point for each guardrail. In addition, it included a site sketch of each location, recommendations and cost for guardrails needing replacement, and an existing condition base map. The information will be used to prepare future guardrail rehabilitation projects in the project area.
